The Wildlife Department rescued 6 lions trapped in the flood.

According to the department, the lions were trapped in a farmhouse located on Multan Road near Ravi, Lahore and were rescued by Wildlife Rangers.

These lions belonged to a private farm owned by Mian Saqib, a well-known YouTuber. They had to be moved to a safe place to escape the flood, but due to extremely difficult conditions, the services of the Wildlife Department were sought. With the cooperation of local rescue teams, the lions were rescued through boats.

In this regard, Punjab’s senior minister Maryam Aurangzeb said that despite torrential rains and flooding, the Wildlife Rangers performed their duties with dedication.

The senior minister said that the Wildlife Department averted the danger posed by these lions to human lives in time. It was a difficult operation in which four boats and veterinary doctors took part.


Maryam Aurangzeb further stated that the lions have been shifted to a safe place and immediate medical checkup has been started.
